The Institute of Theoretical and Applied Informatics of the Polish Academy of Sciences has two openings for Research Assistants in the Internet of Things Team. These Research Assistants will participate in research related to the movement of people, vehicles and data network traffic in built environments that are supported by the wired and wireless Internet of Things. The research will involve the development of models, algorithms and network protocols that tend to maximize cyber and physical security, and minimize energy consumption and time delays, when people and vehicles (such as cars, drones, industrial robots or palets) move and operate in these environments.  It will include the study of  relevant routing algorithms both for data packets and for people and vehicles. These positions do not include teaching duties.
