Program name: Program Operacyjny Inteligentny Rozwój
Project description: The aim of the project is the development of the devices and the platform for data harvesting from the meters which provide dynamically managed, auto-configured wireless connectivity for the Internet of Things (IoT), which fulfill SmartCity needs.
We will develop:
- telecommunication module for the IoT devices and the energy meters which will automatically toggle between WAN mode (LoRa or NB LTE) and local mode (mesh network) to optimize energy consumption and providing communication with other nearby devices
- network protocol dedicated for the IoT devices for providing the ability to exchange the data with another device, harvest data, monitor the state of devices, dynamic management of network topology for energy consumption optimization and minimizing the data latency during transmission
- new type of the overlay device for the energy and water meters, able to send the data using IoT communication protocols like LoRa and NB LTE
- device model based on semantics making possible the integration with different devices using IP communication and IoT idea - security procedures base on PKI and at least 256 bit encryption (devices with enough computing power) or 128 bit encryption (devices with very limited computing power) for providing authentication and authorization of users and the devices
