IITiS PAN employee Mateusz Ostaszewski received a scholarship in the Etiuda 6 competition of the National Science Center for the project entitled "The use of machine learning in quantum information". The project will be implemented in cooperation with the Department of Computer Science, University College London.

The aim of my presentation is to explain how to introduce this notion into theory of quantum games. I shall focus on PQ Penny Flip game defined by D. Meyer. In particular, I shall formalize the previous results and consider other cases of unawareness in the game.

Marcin Łobejko, Uniwersytet ŚląskiViolation of Leggett-Garga's inequalities means that the system shows a type of non-classical correlation that exhibited by quantum observables measured at different moments of times. These correlations are used, for example, to test macroscopic realism, assess the "quantumness" of the system, and in the protocols in information theory. Despite well-established results regarding correlation in time for closed systems, the area of open systems is still poorly explored.

For this purpose we use a method, which employs both linear programming and nonlinear optimization. This method is used to calculate boundaries of classical description (local and realistic) of popular families of multi-particle quantum states.
